Mobile Food Units (MFU) approved to operate within the City of Pearland are inspected annually. MFU’s do not receive a letter grade. They are scored as ‘pass’ or ‘fail’. Units who fail inspections will not be listed in the following table until they correct any concerns found by Code Enforcement or Fire Marshal staff. Any MFU found to be operating within city limits without approval may be subject to fines per Sec. 11-42 (2). Approved vendors will receive a medallion which is applied to the rear of the truck, trailer, or unit. A sample medallion is depicted below.
The medallion approves the MFU to operate within the city for one year from the date of inspection, which is punched out on the medallion. Contact information is provided in this table for each vendor, if available. Persons wishing to host an MFU from the list may contact them directly, as they have been approved by Code Enforcement and Fire Marshal staff. Concerns or questions regarding MFU’s may be directed to Code Enforcement via email at codeenforcement@pearlandtx.gov, or by phone to 281.652.1766. If you do not find your preferred vendor on this list, or wish to be included on the list, you may download a copy of the Mobile Food Unit License Application here.
